OUR STORY

We are the Beecham Family, and for five generations, we’ve been building homes and developing communities in metro Atlanta.   We truly are a family business (My father & 2 of our children work with us) and family means everything to us.

This chapter of our story begins just after the Covid-19 pandemic. It was then that our family began a journey to find property with room for multiple generations of our family to build and live.  Following in the footsteps of America’s early settlers, we began looking for a place where we could live more freely. A place where we could experience life more fully. A place to call home.

After months of searching, we settled on 122 acres in Ball Ground, a small town about an hour north of Atlanta, GA.   After establishing the homesites needed for our family, we decided to sell a few small tracts of our land.  We had no idea what to do with 122 acres.

We had no way of predicting what would follow!

We were immediately amazed at the response.  It seems that we had struck a vein of deep desire that many others were experiencing. The pursuit of a simpler life, more self-sufficiency and greater freedom had struck a chord with the many.

Permitting, construction, land development and the process of starting a farm are real obstacles to establishing a farmstead. Our experience as Builders & Developers proved to be a key ingredient as it provided a level of confidence and helped overcome fear of the unknown. The idea of a supportive community where resources and knowledge are shared provided the courage to pursue a new way of living.

A place to learn and grow together.

Our Country was settled by courageous visionaries pursuing a better life. It was envisioned as a “City on a Hill” where faith, family and community were paramount.  A “modern pilgrim” movement has begun and a new migration trend is underway. A new world has emerged and how we want to work and live is experiencing  a pivotal change.

We hope you’ll join us on our journey!
